Roshana policies
Participation policy:
Private classes:
Each student in any of Roshana's private classes may request to reschedule one session per term. The rescheduled session must be conducted online. If Roshana cancels a session of a private class, the makeup session (in-person) will be rescheduled by mutual agreement between the teacher and the student.
Group classes:
Roshana is unable to accommodate requests from individuals in group classes to reschedule a session. If a student misses a group session, they will not receive a refund or credit. However, if all students in a group class request to reschedule (limited to one session per term), the rescheduled session can be coordinated among the parents and the teacher.
For teachers: If a session is canceled by the teacher or student, the teachers will be responsible for coordinating with parents to find the best time for a makeup session.

Cancellation requests received:
•Between 7- 3 days before the start of a term: Full refund - %5 of the registration fee
•Between 3 days and 24 hours before start of a term: Refund - 30% of the registration fee
•After the start of a term before the second session: Refund - 50% of the registration fee
•After the second session: No refund but Roshana can give credit for the remaining sessions minus one session for another term/person
Student Supervision and Responsibility Policy
To ensure the safety and clarity of responsibilities for all families, please note that Roshana School Inc. is responsible for students only from the moment they enter the academy’s unit on the 2nd floor of 1075 Marine Drive North Vancouver, until they leave the unit at the end of their scheduled class.
The academy is not responsible for students in the building lobby, hallways, staircase, parking areas, or any other common areas outside Roshana’s office/unit before arrival or after dismissal.
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
• Supervising children until they enter Roshana’s office/unit.
• Ensuring students are safely picked up promptly after class.
• Monitoring children in all shared building spaces.
This policy helps us maintain a safe and structured learning environment for all students.
